Terms of Use for KinoPro
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the KinoPro mobile application ("the App", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. What KinoPro Is
KinoPro is a movie and TV discovery app. It helps you browse, search, and get personalized recommendations for films and series, and shows you where titles are available to stream. KinoPro is a discovery tool only — it does not host, stream, or provide any films or TV shows, and it is not affiliated with any streaming service.
2. Eligibility and Your Account
KinoPro is rated 17+ on the App Store and you must be at least 17 years old to use it. The App shows an unfiltered film and TV catalogue, including titles with mature themes, violence and strong language. Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information when registering, and let us know if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Deleting your account permanently removes it and cannot be undone.
3. KinoPro PRO+ and In-App Purchases
Auto-renewing subscription. KinoPro PRO+ is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before that period ends.
Credits pack. The credits pack is a one-time purchase that adds tokens to your balance. It does not renew and is consumed as you use the App.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device, or through the "Manage Subscription" button inside the App. Cancelling is handled entirely by Apple — we cannot cancel a subscription for you, because Apple does not give apps that ability.
Cancelling is not a refund. Cancelling stops future renewals only. PRO+ remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and that payment is not returned.
Refunds. All payments are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's policies. We do not receive your payment directly and cannot issue, approve, or deny refunds. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
Price changes. If we change subscription prices, the new price applies only to future renewals, and Apple will notify you in advance and ask for your consent where required.
Restoring purchases. If you reinstall the App or move to a new device, use "Restore Purchases" in the App to bring back an active subscription bought with the same Apple Account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of these Terms;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, our systems, or other users' accounts;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- use automated means to scrape, copy, or overload the App or the services it relies on;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its content without our written permission.
5. Third-Party Content and Services
Film and television information — including titles, descriptions, ratings, artwork, and streaming availability — is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability is supplied by third parties and may be incomplete, out of date, or different in your region.
Recommendations in features such as Mood Radar are generated by third-party AI services (Groq and OpenRouter). AI-generated suggestions can be inaccurate or unexpected, and should be treated as suggestions rather than verified facts. Links and references to third-party services are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
6. Availability and Changes to the App
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also impose usage limits, including limits on AI requests, saved favorites, and other features, and these limits may differ between the free and PRO+ tiers. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but the App is provided on an ongoing, evolving basis.
7. Intellectual Property
The App itself — including its design, interface, and original content — belongs to us and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes. Film and TV metadata and artwork remain the property of their respective rights holders.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information it displays will be accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within it. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. Termination does not automatically cancel an active subscription — subscriptions are tied to your Apple Account and must be cancelled separately, as described in section 3.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
